de Gournay constantly look for new and exciting ways to re-interpret our designs. We have recently begun to embellish our designs by adding beading, and are delighted to be able to offer beading as a finish or complete design for our wallpapers and fabrics.

Embroidered Fabrics

Beading can be applied onto any of our fabrics. We have a range of standard designs or you can develop a custom design with us. Our artists use intricate and varying techniques, combining beading with hand embroidery, to create unique pieces. Clients can choose a fabric to embroider from our own range of silk fabrics, or can provide a custom supplied fabric.

Embroidered Wallpapers

Beading can be applied onto any of our paper backed silk wallcoverings. We have a range of standard designs or you can develop a custom design with us. Once the design has been painted by hand, an array of beads and sequins of varying colours and sizes are hand sewn onto the silk before it is paper backed.

Every bead is sourced to complement the painted surface and we can recommend the application of beads to suit your chosen design. Design elements can be partially or fully embroidered depending on the look you wish to achieve.
