Design Leadership Network Summit at Arniston House

Just fifteen miles from Edinburgh, Arniston House is the majestic setting for a dinner given in celebration of last week’s Design Leadership Network summit held within the city – a night to remember within one of Scotland’s most captivating historic houses.

Hand-painted in luminous greens against a spectral background of silver gilded paper, the sprawling garden scene depicted within our ‘Askew’ chinoiserie design envelops the walls by candlelight.

Tables swathed in de Gournay silk and trailed with flowers by Pyrus Botanicals bore our hand-painted ‘Pseudo Tobacco’ porcelain at each setting, decorated with an antique motif of richly saturated autumnal hues, alongside place cards hand-painted with a single thistle.
In reference to decorative tartan, striped silks by Colefax & Fowler and Lelievre draped each chair in ruched swags, ensuring they were no less kilted than our special guest: a master of ceremonies who performed a toast to the haggis made for the occasion. A night to remember within one of Scotland’s’ most captivating historic houses.
