MARQUETRIE LOTUS
Concepted as a stunning epitome of artisanal craftsmanship, pairing the elegance of French Art Deco marquetry with the refined tradition of Japanese Byobu screens, ‘Marquetrie Lotus’ is a faceted composition where sharp geometric forms intertwine to reveal glimpses of delicate lotus leaves - the symbols of purity and rebirth amidst the rich textures of burl, tiger wood, and zebrano: evoking wood panelling – an oft-used element within Art Deco interiors.

NARCISSUS & ECHO
Hand-painted design in a fresh, sketched style with hand-embroidered raffia details, this design tells the famed myth of Narcissus and Echo. Echo, the nymph, first glimpses the beautiful Narcissus while he is out hunting, and the more she gazes upon him the deeper her longing grows, captivated by his beauty.

RELIEF ANCIEN
Inspired by bas relief patterns of the Art Deco era, and the linear drawings of famed French Surrealists such as Jean Cocteau and Henri Laurens, ‘Relief Ancien’ composes thickly hewn, impasto lines beneath familiar Hellenic architectural elements. Intended to suggest the softened contours and brushed, textural layers of plaster, the resulting sense of sculpted depth evokes the sense of an artisanal hand in its creation.

TORTUE BOISERIE
Inspired by the intricate craftsmanship of Art Deco and the luxurious materials that typified its popular aesthetic, ‘Tortue Boiserie’ is a vivid depiction of stunning tortoiseshell in a high-gloss lacquered finish accented with aged gold details suggestive of architectural drawings – enlarged and amplified as though inlaid into the walls.
