Recalling the detailed leather book bindings of the 1930s, ‘Doucet’ is an eye-catching interplay of pattern and form, suggestive of a deconstructed landscape. Named for the great French collector Jacques Doucet - one of the most important patrons of 20th-century art, who assembled two renowned libraries devoted to art, archaeology, and literature - the design is composed with the sensibility of modernist works, enlivened by dynamic variations in shape. Rendered in bas-relief, then antiqued and polished, lustrous curves are balanced by ruled gestures, converging across a hand-painted ground in deep tones of mahogany and plum, its concentric contours elegantly punctuated by linear strokes.
The featured designs offer a shimmering glimpse of our 2026 launches and showroom debuts.

In ‘Parasol Pines’, raffia, silk, and cotton threads form a dreamlike Mediterranean landscape. Umbrella pines are hand-embroidered, evoking the romantic scenery of Provence in a richly hued neutral palette of burnt umber and sienna, set against a softly toned ground.
Akin to the pointillist movement that flourished in the region, the sketch-like composition is animated by its abundant texture, as satin stitch and couching, combined with French knots, bring the design to life with expressive dimension.

Hand-embroidered graphic, sprawling pattern frames an entryway with ‘Glyph’, implementing natural raffia, metallic soft wires and voile appliqué upon wool sateen base - designed by by Beirut-based duo David/Nicolas.

Statuesque leopards recline across the tree canopy in this ‘Leopards’, a glamorous design rendered entirely in hand-embroidery. Richly detailed and highly realistic, the scene is animated through layered techniques and a lavish interplay of materials. Soft wire, metalwork, delicate beading, and silk threads combine in vivid dimension, while palm fronds rendered in silk and metal gleam across the composition.

Echoing the aged glamour of Art Deco, ‘Levant’ pays homage to the beauty of Persian miniatures, reinterpreted through 20th-century bas-relief techniques. This richly textured design is realised through a specialised layering of processes: motifs are formed in bas relief, then gilded, antiqued, and polished to achieve a uniquely refined lustre.

The delicate, hand-embroidered tendrils of ‘Osier’ frame an inviting niche, re-envisioned in this new rendition featuring a serene Mint linen ground.
In addition to our array of new designs, our apartment has been reimagined as an antiques emporium, backed by exquisite antique panels in two designs: an homage to some of our historic chinoiserie creations.
