Painted Dupion

Painted Dupion is created using a sheer slubby organza silk that is hand painted and laminated over a coloured Dyed Paper base. The construction is intended to be used as a plain wallpaper but it can also be used as a background to design as a custom product. The uneven striation through the panels does not join from panel to panel; a panelled effect is to be expected. Custom colours are available; two tones will be chosen, one that will be used to colour the base layer and one to colour the top layer of silk. Contrasting colours will create a two tone effect and enhance the striee effect. Two similar shades will produce a flatter more uniform appearance.
