A PAIR OF 10" HAWKS

The original Famille Rose Hawks are from the Qianlong period dating approximately 1760. Looking sharply to the left and the right, each perched astride blue and brown glazed rockwork with one leg raised. The bodies decorated in detailed iron-red feathers on yellow legs, the polychrome wings folded over their backs. The heads with lavender cheeks and sharp hooked beaks and an alert expression.
