Balmoral is a reproduction ofa striking mid l 81h cenlury Famille Rose Chinese Export service, shown here bearing the Genor crest and coat of arms of the Genore family who commission it sometime between 1745 - 1760. The rim with dramatic concentric bands of gilt zigzag and green enamel filled dog-tooth decoration surrounding floral sprays in alternating polychrome and bianco sopra bianco palettes finished off with an inner gilt spearhead band.
