BOTANICALS
‘Botanicals’ takes inspiration from the 17th-century home of Swedish naturalist Carl Linnaeus, who famously lined his walls with botanical studies by Georg Dionysius Ehret. Large-scale illustrations of passion flower, chestnut, heliotrope, orchid tree, grapevine, gardenia, hummingbird tree and Indian pellet shrub recall the quiet beauty of botany’s golden age, rendered across each porcelain piece with striking detail and delicacy. Bespoke by nature, the design allows for infinite variation - individual flowers and botanical species may be chosen and arranged to create a service as personal as it is painterly.
de Gournay offers an array of handmade porcelain dinner service shapes ranging from dinner plates to serving platters, punch bowls, teapots and tureens. Designed for all styles of dining, the collection includes both round and octagonal plate shapes.
