MOURAVIEV
The Mouraviev design came about through a commission received by de Gournay to recreate an early 19th century pattern originally from the manufactory of Boyer who bad taken over the business of one of the best-known Paris porcelain makers, Feuillet, at 18-20 rue de la Paix, in 1834. The commission, from the descendants of Boyer's original 19th century client, Count Nicolas Valerian Mouraviev, was for a complete service in the same Sevres style as the original which featured a family monogram surrounded by a circle of simple laub und bandclwerk gilt above a black enamel band with a gilt banded rim.
de Gournay offers an array of handmade porcelain dinner service shapes ranging from dinner plates to serving platters, punch bowls, teapots and tureens. Designed for all styles of dining, the collection includes both round and octagonal plate shapes.
