QUEEN ANNE
This refined design is reproduced from a late 18th-century Chinese Export service, itself likely adapted from a European original of the period. A border of stylised leaves and twisting vines in gilt, iron-red and blue is interspersed with sprays of gilt flowers, framed by an inner border of alternating blue and gilt arrowheads - a classic expression of Export porcelain. Historically, such services were often personalised with family coats of arms, a tradition de Gournay continues today through bespoke adaptation in motif and colour.
de Gournay offers an array of handmade porcelain dinner service shapes ranging from dinner plates to serving platters, punch bowls, teapots and tureens. Designed for all styles of dining, the collection includes both round and octagonal plate shapes.
