Paper City Magazine profiled the launch of de Gournay’s new addition to their collection of hand painted Chinoiserie wallpapers: Houghton – inspired by the original 17th century panels installed within Houghton Hall in Norfolk. Gathering together some of the world’s leading Interior Designers, de Gournay’s founder Claud Cecil Gurney, his daughter Hannah Cecil Gurney and nephew Dominic Evans-Freke celebrated this new addition to their permanent collection with a candlelit dinner at the house itself, alongside its owners the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley.
