Amarelo on scenic paper

This original design by de Gournay draws on zoological illustrations by William Daniell and Dutch artist Joseph Smit as well as the work of celebrated artist and explorer of Africa, Thomas Baines, who accompanied David Livingstone along the Zambezi during his 1858 expedition. The viewer is transported from the Great Plains of Africa to the Okavango Delta and on to the tropical environs of the Zambezi River culminating at Victoria falls.
