Monuments of Paris

Roberts on antique scenic Xuan paper

Monuments of Paris is a reproduction of a block printed mural first published between 1812-1814 by Dufour Paris. An idealised view of the city seen from an imaginary island, in the foreground we see rustic pastoral scene set against a backdrop of the Seine River and the most famous buildings of Paris including the Place du Vendome, Notre Dame, Le Panthéon and the Arc du Carrosel align in perfect view.
