– ABOUT THIS DESIGN –

The Incas is a reproduction of a mural first published by Dufour, Paris, in approximately 1818 and exhibited a year later at the French Industrial Exposition. The designer is unknown. The design shows the Spanish Conquistador Francicsco Pizarro disembarking with his famous band of 13 men who through various audacious moves went on to capture the last Inca emperor Atahuallpa, conquer the Inca Empire and found the city of Lima.
