– ABOUT THIS DESIGN –

Climbing vines covered in small blooms wind their way around willowy and elegantly spiky bamboo above a simple mossy ground while colorful butterflies flit from flower to flower between the forest of bamboo stems. Inspiration for this pattern came from many sources, in the Queen of Scot’s Dressing Room at Chatsworth bamboo is employed in a monochromatic palette with the same delicate feel as Chantilly, bamboo being a popular element in all aspects of Chinese life and therefore in Chinese art as well.
