– ABOUT THIS DESIGN –

This original design by de Gournay and interior designer Thomas Jayne draws on a wide collection of 19th Century American lithographs and drawings to create a period landscape. The viewer is transported from the southern flatlands of the Mississippi Delta past plantation houses and paddle steamers to the Hudson and mountainous landscape surrounding Niagara Falls, passing landmarks such as West Point and Catskill Mountain House on the way.
