Despite the textured worn appearance the standard product (labelled ITP (wr) ) is colour fast when wiped with a damp cloth and performs strongly to resist sunlight fading. ITP (wr) is an update of our ITP product that can still be ordered which has a softer looking surface with a greater antique effect but which is not colourfast to water or light. In addition to the 34 standard colours shown, custom colours are availbale. India tea paper grounds are made by hand so variation between lots made at different times should be expected.
Sizes
India tea paper is available in 915mm (3ft) or 1220mm (4ft) wide panels in lengths of up to 4600mm (15ft).
Installation
These papers require expert installation for best effect. Please read our hanging instructions before commencing installation and ask for our advice on installers.
Technical
ITP (wr) has a colour fast surface that is water resistant and can be wiped with a damp cloth. Please be aware that any design painted to the panels may not be wipeable to the same extent or at all. When first installed the surface can have traces of dust left from the patination process which is normal. Panels can be supplied treated to meet any fire standard. Ask for our cleaning and care instructions.
Design
The blocks vary in size by +/- 1” (25mm) to create a loose and relaxed looking repeat.
