– ABOUT THIS DESIGN –
A blooming garden festooned with birdcages and ribbons, ‘Cecily’ conjures picture book prettiness. The basis of this design was a wallpaper we created for Marble Hill House many years ago, in which the design colours are mostly contained in the lower section of the composition. With the addition of lush foliage, and various tree specimens whose, airy branches above display ornate perches and decorative cages suspended with brightly coloured ribbons tied with bows. The resulting scene is of notable charm.
