– ABOUT THIS DESIGN –

‘Fruit Garden’ is a hand-painted scene inspired by the wallpaper within the dining room of Beata Heuman’s Swedish countryside home, itself an ode to the garden frescoes of Rome’s Villa Livia, a landscape of trees and flowers that dates to the 1st century BC. Depicting fruit trees in blossom rising from a meadow of wildflowers, the design captures the joy and abundance of summer alive with birdsong.
